Graham Turns on Trump Administration, Initiates Probe into Kari Lake

Graham Sides with Washington Elites to Protect Taxpayer-Funded Propaganda Machine

Lindsey Graham has turned his back on President Trump, MAGA, and the America First movement by launching a political witch hunt against Kari Lake. The probe originates from the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations, which is chaired by Senator Graham.

Mainstream outlets like the Daily Beast and Washington Post have spun this story as MAGA turning on Kari Lake, but Lindsey Graham has never been part of the MAGA movement. The mainstream media is trying to divide the MAGA base by claiming Lindsey represents the movement.

Rather, Lindsey is using his power to undermine the President’s real allies. Remember, Trump said back in 2024, after his election, that Kari Lake was his pick to run the Voice of America (VoA). Trump had previously attacked VoA in his first term, and in February of this year, Elon Musk called for it to be shut down altogether.

The reason VoA has drawn the ire of true MAGA supporters is the same reason that Lindsey Graham is going to bat to support it. Voice of America is a state-owned, taxpayer-funded, legacy media institution with huge left-leaning bias. Lindsey Graham is fighting to keep a taxpayer-funded propaganda institution open. Kari Lake and President Trump are working to eliminate the waste of taxpayer money.

On March 14, 2025, Trump signed an executive order aimed at further reducing the federal bureaucracy, which included the United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) – the parent organization for VoA. Kari Lake was simply using her position to continue the President’s goal of reducing the amount of tax dollars America wastes supporting leftist propaganda machines. Evidently, such efforts were deeply offensive to Lindsey Graham, who always counts on leftist state-run media to pad his reelection efforts.

This is yet another example of why it’s time to take action: demand that Lindsey Graham be sent home from Washington. Let’s stand together and ensure South Carolina is represented by someone who puts America First!
