Does Lindsey Graham Hate Peace?
The Senator’s Latest Move Seems to Directly Undermine Trump’s Efforts to Bring Russia-Ukraine Conflict to an End
Following Trump’s historic meeting with Putin in Anchorage, Alaska, last week, it appeared we may finally see an end to the bloodshed in Eastern Europe. The conflict has been ongoing for 2.5 years at this point, and a resolution would be beneficial for all parties involved. The mood among insiders following the summit was cautiously optimistic and called the talks “constructive”.
On Monday, following his meeting with Putin, Trump met with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Washington, D.C., and signaled he is trying to set up a meeting between Zelensky and Putin to continue moving the peace talks forward.
After years of deadlock in negotiations and on the battlefield, despite the loss of tens of thousands of lives and tens of billions of US taxpayer dollars, any hope of bringing the conflict to an end should be celebrated by all.
Unfortunately, it seems the only person who has no interest in peace is South Carolina’s own Senator Lindsey Graham.
NEW: Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., are floating the possibility of introducing a bill in the Senate that, if passed, could designate Russia and Belarus as state sponsors of terrorism over the kidnapping of Ukrainian children, a source familiar…

In the midst of Trump’s efforts to bring peace to Eastern Europe, Lindsey Graham and his neo-con allies on the Democratic side of the aisle are floating a bill that would only serve to insult Putin, inflame tensions between the US and Russia, and erase all the progress that Trump has made in the last week. Why would Lindsey Graham try to kill a peace deal?
You could not do a better job sabotaging President Trump in his pursuit of peace if you tried than what Senators Graham and Blumenthal are currently proposing.
After 32 years of undermining American interests, it is time South Carolinians stand up and say ‘NO MORE’ to Lindsey Graham’s warmongering ways. Call his office, tell him to support Trump’s efforts for peace, not to undermine him, and in June, we have the chance to send him home for good.
